Maybe you should do some research. There are dozens of videos of tribal members and leaders that love the name. There are over 40 reservation schools that use it as a mascot. Nobody uses it as a slur and haven't for a long, long time if it ever was. Poll after poll showed that a small minority was bothered by it and they are mostly white liberals. This hurts native Americans more than it helps. Now Washington doesn't have to funnel millions in aid and promote Indian causes. They lost a huge flashpoint to demonstrate and air their concerns. How are they going to get attention now?

White liberals are easily the most offended group in America at this point. I know one. I work with one. The shite out of his mouth expresses a desire to feel oppressed so hard. He lives vicariously through other's fabricated oppression

It's actually something to take pride in, but too many white liberals rather be offended on their behalf (since most Natives do not care whatsoever.)
RedTails sounds so XFLish and something else I will refrain from saying. I understand who they were in history.
You can find someone offended by any mascot. It's sad Snyder finally caved, because of the ridiculousness that is 2020.
I wish they would go with another Native name and keep the logo. It's one of the most iconic logos in all of sports.. and 2020 is going to claim it?

Yeah except for the fact that the group that is supposedly offended by the Redskins moniker is the group who came up with the moniker to identify themselves and they overwhelmingly don’t give a shite. Welp, the final three choices are Redtails, Warriors, and Redwolves. Redhawks got vetoed because Seattle already has the Seahawks. Redwolves is the apparent front-runner. I could get behind this...
