None of the strip club charges showed they were to a strip club in the 80s. They had some generic company name like "LPH Investments". That way wives never knew their husband was going there.

What an idiot. He makes enough those expenses should never hit an account, and if they supposedly would, get a per diem.

Many organizations allow you to either receive a per diem or just use your company card to pay your expenses directly. If you want to go drop bags at the strip club, just take the cash and use that.

Gotcha. I’m aware, just never heard it put that way. My company does exactly that. Swipe the company card for even a penny and no per diem for you.

I preferred the military way.

I work for a fortune 10 company and have for 15 years

I’m probably gone to over 100 conferences with some of executives and you wouldn’t believe the stuff they do. Not one thing is on their dime. They always find ways to get around finance finding out.

Most of the conferences were taking our partners that do good business for us. It’s very common for them to pay and we make a side deal that we will give them a special “bonus for ____” when we get home to reimburse them plus a little extra.

It’s also not put on the company card where some dork that does expense reports can see it

People might get fired if others have an axe to grind, but they never get fired because of the “dork who does expense reports”.

Human nature. Rules are different if you produce.

Let me guess, you’re the “dork”

You produce data. They do with the data what they wish. Should the Saints have fired Drew Brees for being late to practice?
