This loss doesn't take them out of the playoffs they still have LSU UGA and OU. Win those and they're definitely in the playoff.

Ole Miss has played no one of consequence but still has a loss. If they were named Army, they wouldn't be ranked.

LSU won a NC after losing to Kentucky in 2007.
I agree that a lineup of LSU, UGA, and OU is tough though. That doesn’t even include the rest of the SEC schedule that can still have good games.
