Magic had a bad Finals too, choking after being clutch earlier in his career...Tragic Magic:
By 1984, Magic Johnson wasn't new to this anymore. He was already a Finals MVP and playing in his third consecutive Finals. His first matchup with Larry Bird should've brought out the best, but instead of another trophy, he just got a new nickname. Why? He inexplicably dribbled out the clock when Game 2 was tied and the Lakers lost in overtime. He committed a costly turnover that sent Game 4 to overtime and missed two free throws that would've tied the score. Somehow, the Lakers still made it to Game 7...where Johnson lost the ball with just under a minute remaining and sealed a title for the Celtics.
But then again, we've never seen a Magic hero (rookie - Game 7 MVP at center; 1985 jr. sky-hook) Finals moment from LeBron.

+/- is the end all? Right after you told me I was wrong to only looks 3 stats, you use 1 flawed stat?
Tony Parker was better than Danny Green last night. Don't believe me, check the +/-
I'm out. Get me a good deal on a new Charger and I'll concede lol.

His man, whoever it was at the time, drove around him to the lane anytime they wanted to.
James was the games worst player last night, period.
I see you're picking up right where you left off...

The biggest pussy on the board shows up! It figures you would be a James fanboy. Perfect!

Packing the lane and letting not just him but the whole heat team throw up the 3's. obviously you saw in game 2 that plan backfired when the heat caught fire

I don't even care about any of this that much, which is why I haven't engaged in any of these threads. The level of idiocy/douchebaggery you bring to any thread you post in amuses me though, you middle aged backwoods used car slangin alpha male you

That new body style, 11 and up, is one sweet ride. When I first bought this dealership I was driving 90 miles one way a day. I drove one for about a month. Great ride, p,entry of power and I was getting 30 mpg.
I've got a good availability of low mileage 13 program cars I can save you some good money on. I don't handle new Chrysler.

LeBron is passing too much
He took 21 shots last night.

had to look it up to confirm the exact numbers.
If Lebron ever shot 6 of 19 it 3 boards and 2 assists is you'd blast him fo his effort, no doubt about it.
Post the exact game in which Jordan had those numbers and who played SG/SF for his opponent.
It's not that LeBron is just shooting bad, he is playing shite defense too. He was literally the worst defender on the court last night. Think about that. He plays with Mike Miller... not even Mike Miller played as bad as d as Lebron. Not even Matt Bonner played that bad.
You love stats bruh... LeBron was -32 last night. There isn't a single consensus top ten player in NBA history that has had that bad of a performance in the Finals. Not a single one.

It's simple really. They're backing off of him, forcing him to shoot jumpers. The thing is, Spo is making it an emphasis to get Wade and Bosh going early, which puts Bron out of rhythm, so then he can't hit his jumpers. If he were taking them early and often, they wouldn't give him such a cushion, then he could play Bron ball.

I hate how biased refs are. One night a player goes to the line 4 times, the next it's 20 with a different ref.

Just read this on the internet
quote:
The Heat have the Spurs just where they want them. Wonder why Spoelstra said after the game, that the Heat got what they deserve ? It's because that's what LeBron want to happen. Wonder why Lebron has been laying back.... not aggressively attacking rim ? Because, He wants to show who's really in charge here and the reason why the Heat win games ..it's not the coach..it's not the other two and there is no everybody else..on this team,, that can play well enough to beat the Spurs. But,mainly it's because he want's to prove to the world, that he is better than Jordan ,,by scoring 30, 40 even 50 points a game in the next 3 games and going to the foul line 10 or 15 times and making 90% of them ..there by carrying the Heat to winning 3 strait and NBA Championship. (!) Anything less would just not be Jordanesque...

sounds like something a longtime Heat fan would say

I like how this guys arguing fo Jordan and avoiding the most important part of Jordan's "bad game" stat line. In those 3 games jordan shot poorly. 6 of 19 is a bad percentage. But he didn't have 12 points or 15 if you want to account for 3's, he had 23. When a players in a slump what should they turn to? Driving, and getting fouled! Turn to your superior athleticism when the shots aren't falling. That's what lebron should have done. But he didn't. Zero free throw attempts.
In regards to the heats struggles they stem from lebron. Sorry but he just simply doesn't like going down low. One of his first field goals was a powerful face to basket double pump easy lay in. then he abandoned that. He wants to be a guard. Essentially he's a glorified power forward. He's the heaviest player on the court. He wants to play point. Magic wasn't a shooter on the offensive end he drove and he played back to basket basketball when need. But he had forwards and centers out there with him to dish down low. Haslem and bosh want to shoot, lebron wants to shoot. The heat need a banger and no one wants that role at the moment. Millers shooting lights out, ray coming back. Charmers and cole are shooting 3's. that's those guys role.
And this is all coming from a guy who does not like the Heat in any way. I don't like the bandwaggon fan base, the super team ideology, and I think they're more like the spurs then they want to believe. They've turned around and complained to refs more times than frankly I've seen the spurs. But they're more athletic and the prettier team so people want to believe what they want to believe.
Tldr? When you're struggling with shooting (acquired skills) switch to natural skills (superior athleticism) And someone for the heat need to grow some balls, Tiago is not that scary.
Edit: sorry for wrong form of your, on mobile.
