No he doesn’t, unless you’re on a site that’s majority saints fans.

I don’t know what “changed the game mentally” means

It means he changed the game with smarts without the greatest physical ability. You might deny but he was the guy who led the path for Drew Bree’s and Tom Brady to play into their 40’s, because all those QB’s can call their own plays and adjust the game at the line of scrimmage. Have there been other NFL QB’s who have done that? Sure. Peyton perfected it so far. I understand your bias but I doubt Brees would beat Peyton in a nation wide vote for best NFL QB of all time.

Of course he wouldnt and thats the point. People are dumb and they regurgitate what they hear when it comes from the media

Welp, I listen too a lot of people who are actually apart of the NFL, and I used to work for the NFL, so If you think people like me with a different option are just listening to the media, you have some strong bias.

For a guy who changed the game so much mentally, sure had a propensity to choke in the high-stakes playoff games most of his career. Best regular season quarterback of all-time but that’s it.

For a choke artist, two rings looks a lot better than one.

Its a team sport, not tennis. Giving a QB all credit or all blame for a W/L is one of the most retarded viewpoints in sports.

Brock Osweiler won him #2 and he had the luck of playing a Bears team with REX GROSSMAN at quarterback in the Super Bowl but tell me more about two rings over one

Compared to his peers he just hasnt been good better than the other 3 guys. He puts up alot of yards and tds due to how many years he has played. Just never the best player in the league like the other 3 have been at one point or another

0 league mvps.... arod 2, brady 3, manning 5

First team all pro (most important) brees 1, arod 2, brady 3, manning 7

His defense won him number two would be a better argument, but I still think Peyton is better all time than Brees, and most of the NFL and fans would agree.

I’m done debating this. It’s a Louisiana site, and Saints fans have huge bias when it comes to any convo. I’m sorry but Drew Brees isnt even disrespected. This board is disrespecting those who came befor him, that belong on the list of GOAts before him.

Says more about the credibility of the award considering the legendary seasons Brees submitted than anything else

Reflects on that accolade's credibility too

Definitely better at choking with the higher-seeded team and entering the playoffs playing at legendary levels that's for sure

Baugh, Unitas, Staubach, Montana, Brady this isn't fricking rocket science

2009 is the perfect example of "well, because his name is Peyton Manning" when it comes to MVP/1st team All Pro. Any argument that Manning deserved those accolades over Brees that year are flimsy at best.

All I know is Brees submits better playoff numbers than Peyton and much of Peyton's losses occurred when his teams were the higher seed, hows that for CHOKING, Tennessee?

I don’t think it’s disrespectful to have him behind Brady and Rodgers.

How is Rodgers better?

How?? I will never understand this. It's extremely disrespectful to put Rodgers ahead of Brees.

He's better at choking when his team's the higher seed and submitting lesser numbers in the high stakes compared to the regular season, plain and simple
