It's like attempting to bring down the NCAA because one football team was doing illegal shite.

The coverup was bad, but calling out Francis? For fricks sake, I've got to fill out about 40 pages of forms now to coach a group of middle school kids. To think there's still an crisis in the Church is asinine.

Sorry, I'm also bitter because a very good priest who is a dear friend of our family had his name drug through the mud for years only to come out that the allegations were all a ploy to sue the diocese.

Spotlight was terrible. None of the characters were believable except for Keaton. Ruffalo, who I usually like, was GODAWFUL and the story was extremely repetitive, predictable (even accounting for the fact that it was a true story), and devoid of suspense.

Thank God the Revenant didn't win.

Would've loved Mad Max, Ex Machina, Room or Inside Out to win, but Spotlight was fantastic. Important. Perfectly paced. Well acted. Great direction.

Pope Francis has actually been active in trying to make sure what went on doesn't happen again.

Very happy for both Brie and Leo. Leo killed it on that acceptance speech

Personally I didn't think Spotlight wasn't as good as some of the others up for Best Picture (namely Room and The Revenant), but to each his own

I usually laugh at this board for being angry white men. But tonight was nauseating. It was just freaking pathetic how obvious and contrite it was

Tonights show was practically a caricature/parody of itself.

Seems to me like they called out Catholics and not Christianity as a whole?

Do people ever get to host back to back years?

I'd love if Rock hosted next year.

End it on some good ole fashion Catholic bashing. I love it. Never change Hollywood

The Catholic Church perpetuated one of the most perverse and widespread scandals in the history of human society. They deserve way more than a unflattering film made about them.

The fact that most of those men will never face justice is nauseating.
