It definitely won't be as good as the 2010 masterpiece that was directed by M. Night Shyamalan

I still can't believe this is all based on a Nickelodeon original from like 20 yrs ago.

Almost always something this good would be created by the Japanese.

This a remake of a cartoon? For someone who never watches cartoons, is it easy to get into?

Very easy. It's a basic story of good vs. evil and restoring balance to the world. I'm curious to see how they pull this off in live action, because with the elemental magic they use, some of the fight scenes in the cartoon were pretty epic in scale and seemed like they would be expensive to pull off with CGI.

I really hope they don't try to cram too much into the first season. Let the show breathe and establish the characters. It is a fantastic story, don't rush it.

The Aang vs Ozai is pretty basic but there’s some nuance with the Fire Nation as a whole and of course Azula and Zuko

The animated show is probably the best animated show I've ever seen.

It might be the best written series I've ever seen. The character arcs are perfect.

It a show that doesn’t let you down. It’s got depth and basically everything you want. I’m glad I watched it when it came out as a 10-13 year old. That was the perfect time. Now it’s easy to enjoy as an adult and get all that nostalgia too.
