I like the actors involved with the show but the trailer looked god awful.

I feel like it's trying it's best to be a British comedy, sort of Red Dwarf and Faulty Towers type thing.
But it is missing in some delivery. There is some very funny quick wit, but then it doesn't flow. I guess that's the editing that some are mentioning.
Individual characters are funny, but they aren't quite meshing as well due to the writing.
I did laugh at the dark idea that everyone that dies will just be spinning around this space cruise ship for 3 years.
I think it will find its stride after a few episodes

Man the M/TV board is a tough crowd.
Not many comedies nowadays bc all the PC bullshite, but we finally get one with HBO production value and without a laugh track on CBS and yet 95% of y'all are complaining about editing, bad casting, and character development. Stop watching.

It's Ok. I'll keep watching because of the cast. As a long time Hugh Laurie fan I love that he gets to be both British and American.

I’m sure they spoofed stories of the cruises that get backed up plumbing and shite overflows the boat. It’s a poorly run cruise in space. 0% meant to be a realistic depiction of space voyages. Odd entertainment shows. Karen type passengers. Problemed relationships, and grossly incompetent crew. If you expected this to be hidden numbers type preparation story IDK WTF you were thinking.
