It certainly has to be more entertaining than SGU.

Haven't gotten around to BSG yet, unfortunately. I tend to put off things that cost money.

I would imagine BSG is a much more dramatic show, though.

Better than BSG?

No way, But I think BSG's only equal in terms of hour long television is "The Wire."

Where? I only found the complete series on ninjavideo (72 minute limit is too annoying) and Amazon. Not to mention I've been told I have to watch the miniseries first.

Try icefilms.com

You can download 5 or 6 episodes before you get a limit.

Or at least it was that way when I watched all 7 seasons of West Wing.

Might try that later.

A lot of people have recommended this one too. But I won't watch it since you didn't take my B5 opinion into account.

Yeah just checked. they are on ice. When you get to the mega site, watch one episode on mega, then at the same time, download one. And just keep downloading them until you get hit with a download limit.

I'll secretly watch it, just won't give you the satisfaction of knowing!

Oh on icefilms when you find the show you want to watch click the link. Then another page pops up. 3 boxes are on that page. Look to box 2. In that box it says proceed. Click that link. That will take you to megaupload. Then fill in the captcha box and download. Boom. 4 to 6 episodes till you get hit with the limit. Just remember to watch one and have one downloading so you never run out.

Just watched episode 1.

I was able to get enough cheese coming out of my monitor to make nachos, cheese fries, cheese grits, au gratin potatoes and I still got a bucket full.

Flounder acts just like he did in Animal House.

Some of the acting really is horrible. The Ivanova chick is terrible.

So, the dialog was a bit cheesy some of the acting was cheesy and the show is about the UN in space. I sure hope they do a better job than the UN down here.

I realize that was just the pilot episode and music and acting can be a little wonky until things settle down.

I didn't hate it since I realize the pilot episode is seldom excellent.

I got a chuckle out of the head of the base talking about the League Of Non Allied Planets.

If you make it halfway into season 2 you will most likely watch the rest of the seasons. It really takes off in season 3.

By the end of Season 1, you could make enough of that to feed the Chinese Military.

It gets better.

Why do you think I said hesitant? It's "dark" like BSG or Lost. It keeps it lighthearted despite whats going on. Different kind of show.

And it doesn't have the budget of either of those shows (or if they did, it was poorly used). The production value is not high at all.

They must have dumped 90% of the budget into makeup

Season 1 was the worst. It gets better after that. BTW, the chick who plays Ivonovah was in Playboy or something. I think her name is Claudia Christian. Do a google image search of her name if you feel like a late night geek jerkin.
