This was really good, I hope they do a part II and part III
Told my wife the same when we were walking out. Couldn't believe how quickly 2 hours went and I'd love to see more behind the scenes for a few more albums.

Just saw it Sunday evening and was pretty impressed. There was a lot of background info mixed in with some good music. I definitely enjoyed it
Maybe a little bit of a spoiler here
I share Robert Plant's admiration of Sonny Boy Williamson, that dude was legit

Funny. I have never heard any black musicians who sound anything like Zeppelin. This is one of the dumbest talking points around.

In the movie they freely admit using lyrics from other musicians and being inspired by many types of music
Everything from big bands, blues, folk, rock, jazz, and (what would become) heavy metal were in parts of different songs
I probably have a different opinion than many but if you adapt something from another musician who already had their run I think there's at least some benefit to the original voice.
For example, if Darius Rucker were to sing an adaptation of "Ring of Fire" or "Country Roads" there's some attention returned to Johnny Cash and John Denver by fans too young to know about the original songs otherwise
