More for going to sleep than napping is anything on ID channel and the 20/20 investigation shows.
One of the LOTR movies or Inception I like to put on to go to sleep as well.

The Crown has put me to sleep many times. But I wouldn’t count it cause I have to go back.

A football game that I'm not interested in on a Sunday in my recliner, match made in heaven. I'm out. Especially in the winter with a nice warm blanket, best sleep. Geez I sound like a woman

How it’s Made is a good one. Any of the nature shows are good.
My wife is bad about going to sleep to the National Fox News. Inevitably some clown like Levin or Hamburg will come on at 2 or 3 in the morning screaming about something. Wakes me up every time.

OG...
You could just wake-up and say, "hey, it's the Parthenon again."
Bet he tries Baklava again.
He's only been there 100 times.
The narration is a hypnotic drone on with delicious talk of medieval masonary. Plus he looks like the guy playing the stereotypical American tourist with backpack, fannypack and safety tips.

If I'm lucky enough to be home during a weekday, I put the TV on the Starz Western channel. Every day they show these program:
1 pm Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp
1:27 The Big Valley
2:20Laramie
3;11 Death Valley Days
3:38 pm Death Valley Days
4:05 Tales of Wells Fargo
4:56 The Rifleman
5:23 The Virginian
I catch myself being distracted by the opening bugle playing when Death Valley Days comes on. I love hearing what The Old Ranger says, and how long he tied his tie. In my mind I hear the narrator say, "Brought to you by 20 Mule Team Borax", right after the bugler plays and he says "Death Valley Days".
Death Valley Days opening the way it plays now (on YouTube)
The way it aired when it was originally on TV (On www.oddballfilms.com)
If I take a nap 1 pm-3pm is the most I'd want to sleep. That bugle is like an alarm for me.
