Phillip Seymour Hoffman in the movie "Before The Devil Knows You're Dead".
He plays an embezzling, heroin addicted piece of shite that orchestrates a robbery of his own mother's jewelry store where she gets shot and killed because he's getting ready to have his books audited and needs to find money to cover his arse.
Honorable mention, same guy in "Cold Mountain" playing the preacher who impregnates a black slave girl and tries to kill her to save his reputation.

I wouldn’t say he was a douche bag, just kind of the norm of any detention teacher. He was more of a wannabe hardass, and the students knew he was all bark, no bite.
