She showed concern for a while.
But when it became clear to her that he killed Danny and was doing some shady shite to cover it up she fell apart.

It's difficult to condone murder but given Danny had just put her family through the wringer and threaten harm to her daughter she might have offered John more benefit of the doubt than she did.
Maybe it's just the initial shock of discovering your spouse is capable of extreme violence, but she has to understand, upon reflection, that John was pushed into a corner by Danny.
It's hard to fault her and equally hard to accept her anger at John.

I enjoyed season 2, but not nearly as much as season 1. To be honest, this season reminded me of the shield. The main characters would to terrible things and just when you think they will get what is coming to them, something happens and everyone is cleared. I am mainly speaking about the Lowry situation for this season and how he conveniently gets killed by some random and everyone is off the hook.
Obviously it appears they are in deep shite now after finishing season 2, but I am not looking forward to season 3 because I have this gut feeling the same thing will happen and everyone will be let off with little to no consequences despite how much they keep digging themselves deeper...most notably Kevin.

Yeah, I mean she was mad at John and told him she couldn't even look at him right now, but you get the feeling she'd get over it if he'd just get out of trouble somehow. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely in the near future.

I think I enjoyed season 2 just as much as, if not more than, season 1. The end really caught me off guard.. I hadn't checked how many episodes there were and the SO and I just binged all 10 last weekend.. we hit the end and I said "there's NO way I can't NOT watch the last episode with that damn cliffhanger!" And then realized... no more season 2 :(

I want to jump in this thread soooooooo bad but I'm not quit done yet. Got 3 eps left, hoping to finish by tonight.
I didn't think this season could match S1 but I don't really see any dropoff in quality.

When does this show get going? The first episode is rather boring imo
I guess what I'm asking is at what point should I watch to make sure I give it a fair shake before giving up
Def gonna watch 2 and 3 hopefully it gets real good real fast

not nearly as good as season 1 but still thoroughly enjoyable. kyle chandler should be up for some awards. dude carried this season on his back.
outstanding cliffhanger. they have me wanting more.

The acting on this show is first rate. I might get annoyed with the direction they move some of the charcters but the actors do a great job getting it done.

For season 1 it took me a few episodes before I was into it. Give it a chance. If you're in season 2, I don't know what to tell you.

Just finished it. I'm glad they brought Danny back for the "flashback" scenes, but they could have used a better wig for him-lol... (looked a bit unnatural) , or was it just me thinking that? That's probably it for him appearing, but I could be wrong. The "carpet" has been laid for a bunch of material for the next season. Again, as mentioned before, the acting IMO has been above average for these types of series on these platforms.

Just finished up yesterday. what an ending.
I know a few episodes doesnt' erase 2 seasons worth of what we know, but the end seemed "out of character" for kevin. By all accounts he was REALLY trying to get his life on track. He was sober, said he was feeling good (and it showed, at least to the viewer), was thinking abotu his wife and kid, setting themselves up financially by selling the yard, etc. Hell, he even went to marco to confess to get himself right. Yet then he decides to go and do that? I get that he's not the brightest and it was a tense moment, but it just didn't seem to jive with the "new" kevin that we saw.
Also wtf is John going? He's fricked.

Kevin getting his life together is exactly the reason he killed Marco.
Kevin didn't want to lose everything he had just gained and Marco was about to ruin all of it.

Totally agree. When Marco got right up to Kevin's ear and said "you're all going to prison", a nerve snapped in Kevin's head.

Is Gilbert/beau bridges second in command hispanic guy the same guy who was putting the squeeze on Wayne lowery?
If so then you have to think they were aware of the tapes

You guys read up on possible season 3? Apparently the tax incentive for Florida expires next month and Netflix said they don't think they can renew it if that happens. They can't shoot it anywhere else. Wonder if it can be shopped to HBO or something? It can't end like this

So tell us when this kicked in? Was it the episode when he was mad and calling out the sheriff for using him in politics or was it the next one when he was suddenly like a dog going after a bone? What caused this switch and "stress"?
The evidence was starting to mount against John and his siblings. Marco couldn't/didn't want to believe that his longtime friend and partner could have done what the circumstances of the case were leading him to believe he'd done.
Once O'Bannon told a story that made sense of it all, it was easy for Marco to see it could possibly be true. Also, he was pissed at Meg for screwing around and toying with her heart and also at John/Meg for leaking the domestic abuse case from years earlier. That may have even tipped him off that they were guilty of something.

how big of a swing does this cause? I've heard about the tax incentive ending but I know nothing about what that actually means. Seems like it would cost more to shoot down there now, but is it really that substantial of an increase that shows would now be forced to say "well, that's too rich for our blood. We're out"?
