Blue Bloods ends tonight.....

Kind of ironic that Blue Bloods is ending 44 years and a day since Magnum debued. Full circle.
Still sucks Danny and Baez never got together.
End of an era.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They said it was cancelled but their ratings were always really good.

It was cancelled. Neither Selleck nor Wahlberg could figure out exactly why they cancelled it.

Selleck was begging for the show to continue. He and Wahlberg both loved doing it and are still hoping CBS changes their mind.

Cancelled
The entire cast was wanting it renewed. Especially Selleck and Wahlberg
Hopefully they'll be enough of an outcry that CBS won't have a choice.
Gonna miss Bridget Moynahan, Marissa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray.....

Was it a CBS production?
Also... "conspiracy theory" activated... but Selleck and Whalburg are conservatives... and Blue Bloods would be considered one of the more conservative shows, they are staunch Catholics... and pray every time at dinner in every episode... but I'm sure that had nothing whatsoever to do with it.

But I did see a good point that it is very expensive to film in New York and that's why you don't see many shows anymore based out of there(Soaps included). The last ones left are the L & O triad.
I just finished watching the finale. Glad Jamie and Eddie are going to be parents, sad they didn't go further with Baez and Danny.
Hopefully they'll be enough of an uproar for them to bring it back..

SWAT, another CBS show, was cancelled then subsequently revived twice. Last season was supposed to be it and they wrote off several main characters. Just to turn around and renew it again. I don’t understand the decision making there.

They had good chemistry together, but I see why they didn't... they couldn't pair up another team like they did Jamie/Eddie. I reckon they could have circled back to Jennifer Esposito and they could have gotten together. At least it wouldn't seem like "pairing up partners" again.
