I can't stand this movie. I watched it and honestly could not figure out what all the fuss was about.

I remember wondering how many items were in those FedEx boxes that could have made his ordeal a lot easier...

Russel Crowe + Wilson on island = worst movie ever.
Hanks pulls it off and I can't imagine anyone else...think about, everyone else would come off as a joke...Adrian Brody, Keanu Reeves, Mel Gibson, Sean Penn, Johnny Depp, Pitt, Clooney, Damon, Daniel Day Lewis - "I WILL FIND YOU!" (When he loses Wilson.)
I think it's one of those movies/performances where it really matters what the public personally thinks of the actor.

I just imagined Crowe as the lead on Cast Away. It's a comedy now.
