S3 was pretty awesome. Agree there was a few cringy moments but the rest made up for it. IMO, I think a little cheese is alright for this show, though, in the same way the movies have it. Johnny and Daniel could have a show just on their own. Make all the kids fodder and just have them continuing their routine. Their characters are pure money.

Just watched the episode with the house fight... I mean come on. That’s just a little too far overboard. Most of the kid fights are stupid but that was just ridiculous

I was going to go back and pause it at the screen shot to see what he wrote, but never got around to it. That is pretty funny, and very Johnny.
I liked the season. I'm not as annoyed at the lack of kids getting arrested just because I know it's just a fun show that isn't supposed to be real life. But I also wouldn't be mad if they toned that stuff down next season.
I never knew I needed a Chosen/Kumiko/Daniel reunion; or a Johnny/Ali reunion. But I sure as hell did. And I thought the Kreese backstory was nice too. And seeing Johnny helping Miguel relearn to use his legs was really cool.
The uniting of the two dojos was kind of corny though, and I don't see that last very long in the next season. And at first I thought Eagle Fang was a very "Johnny" name for his dojo, but surely they can't keep that goofy name long term. It's definitely a little much.
Overall I really liked the season. Not sure how they can stretch this series to 6 seasons though (which is apparently what they want to do). The series should probably end next season. I hope they don't ruin the series by trying to stretch it out too long without a really good plan.

I finally got around to watching S3 this week. The story got even more fun with Kreese coming in and Johnny going in 3rd direction but eventually Daniel and Johnny coming into similar thinking.
This season I watched the acting with a more critical eye and I have to say that out of all the cast of the show William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) sells his role the best. His portrayal of his role comes across as the most consistently natural in the series.
I'm interested in seeing how they are going to make more seasons than just 4 because everything seems to be leading up to next season being the end. I guess something could happen to postpone the tournament but even then that's only one extra season.

Show is in Cali. Police wear either defunded or are having to deal with peaceful protests. I would love to see Social Workers be sent in to stop the fighting.

Totally on board with this. She doesn't need to become a regular, but she's basically the only neutral character in the series now, and she can see the best in both Johnny and Daniel. Plus she's detached from the insanity with the karate kids.
Now that Johnny and Daniel have teamed up, I could see Ali being used as a voice of wisdom to continue nudging the guys along in their relationship, whenever they inevitably get pissed at each other again.

She was criminally underused on BBT. I know she was on Mom for a time, but that show is wholly unwatchable.
