Obviously, but the intentional suckitude wasn't funny either. Gilbert Gottfried meanwhile killed it. He had the other comedians on stage crying with the arse Hurts joke.

I'm just tired of the "Norm MacDonald is funny because he tries to not be funny" arguments.
I think he's just not funny because nothing he says or does is funny.

I thought it was pretty clear all the guys on the dais thought Norm's was the funniest by a mile. And it was. He has what every comedian wished they had - the ability to have it be funny just because he's the one saying it. No profanity necessary. No screaming. I thought I was going to die laughing during the well joke, especially when his voice cracked on "apparently."
