Agreed but he isn’t ready to carry a show yet. Need at least a season or two of him learning the code.

That kid probably gained 10 pounds during production.

I've never seen a character eat so much in a single season.

I liked how they showed the kill and aftermath from Harrison's point of view. It really drove home the point that Dexter is one screwed up puppy.

I did get a chuckle out of Dexter doing his "make his victim face his crimes" routine with Kurt but once Kurt starting letting too much out of the bag, he cut it short, hurriedly stuffed the rag in his mouth and went right into kill mode.

They did a great job with that. When I was a high school kid, I remember eating non stop, and never gaining a pound. Nowadays if I even look at a pizza I gain 3lbs overnight.

One small objection to the episode is that when Harrison confronted Kurt and said something like "Hi, fricko" or something like that, they missed a golden opportunity for him to drop a "Surprise, motherfricker!" into the scene.

Well hell, may as well partake of a few slices if the weight gain is inevitable. There's no satisfaction in just looking at it.

Could be. Dexter did tell Harrison that rule number one of the code is “don’t get caught”.

Did Kurt's blood touch Harrison's shoe when he was standing on the edge of the plastic in the trophy room? They showed a close up that looked like it might have touched the toe of his boot. I was thinking it might be clue left behind.

I don't think it did. It looked like he made a point to move his foot before it touched him.

Also, Kurt has quite the sprawl down there. I wonder if Dexter is going to tell the girlfriend/cops about it?

That whole sequence was bizarre.. maybe by design? Half the time, Harrison looked to be into it and all for vengeance. The other half he looked scared and not on board with what was going on.

Did I miss the part where Kurt got the podcast girl? Last I remember they were talking at the bar she was telling the chief about how Dexter recorded their conversation - but I don't remember anything after that with her.

This was never shown, so maybe we'll get the answer of how this all went down in the finale!

My objection is when Dexter and Harrison found the underground bunker, Dexter went in first and deliberately tripped the alarm/camera alerting Kurt that he found his trophy room.

Why would both Dexter and Harrison go down underground knowing Kurt was alerted. What was to keep Kurt from driving over there in his fuel truck, locking the access door and dumping 50 gallons of fuel through the air tube and lighting it up. That would have killed both Dexter and Harrison and got rid of his trophy room in one quick lick.

Yeah, yeah, I know being his trophy room he has a vested, but sick interest in keeping it, but if one person can find it, others can too, especially if he's on the cops radar like he was.

I've enjoyed this season, but if I'm being nitpicky, that's one of the things that stands out.

Angela, the police chief in this small town, never knew about this cabin, or noticed that the dead girls all ended up at Kurt's restaurant right before they went missing?

But she can do a quick internet search for ketamine and determine that Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who nitpicks.. because how the HELL did Kurt get all that shite down there through the one hatch?

That's not how it works. Underground bunkers are built in stages. Finish one stage, fill it with furnishings, appliances, etc. then continue building until done.

They addressed it, Harrison said something like “you knew he would run”. Basically Dex knew he would run when he discovered they found his trophy room.
