Does anybody here still watch The Crocodile Hunter?

I was at my brother's a couple of weeks ago and he lets his kids watch TV for about 15 or so minutes before bed. We decided to put Steve Irwin on. They went to bed and my brother and I continued to watch for another 3 or 4 hours. Great entertainment.

I’ve always said Netflix should put all the seasons on.

Yup, it's the most wholesome thing on TV. Almost 20 years after his death and still nobody (as far as I know) has come out and said anything bad about the guy. Just seemed to be a legit good dude who was lucky/charismatic enough to make a living doing something he was passionate about. He'd have a damn snake gnawing on him and be smiling and laughing like it was the best day ever.

This. Maybe hero is not an apt description, but he is probably one of my most favorite people on the planet that I didn't personally know.
My boy is 5 now, and I'll throw on some CH from time to time, and he loves it. And I do as well. He also likes the movie too (even though it wasn't very good
). I actually saw that in theaters with my roommate back in the day because we loved Steve and used to watch him so much. His enthusiasm and love for what he did is far more apparent to me now that I'm older. And his adoration of his wife and kids hits me different now that I have the same. I don't really think I could overstate how much I love that dude.
ETA: I don't really get into the new season shows with Terri and the kids, but I've seen it here and there. And watching Robert and his love for the same shite his dad loved is pretty cool to see. And it's amazing how much he looks, talks, and acts just like Steve. I guess his kids truly did "take the football and run it up" like his dad wanted his legacy to be. It's pretty awesome to think about just how proud he would be to see his kids carry on his work.

Welp,he kinda is the King of FAFO.

Still blows my mind that with all the animals he fricked with it was a stray stingray barb that did him in.

Steve Irwin's show was interesting, but after watching a few episodes and seeing one with the wife where he was laying on the ground in the Australian Outback near a hole he felt a deadly Brown Snake was in, I had a feeling he was not long for the world.
The snake came out the hole and crawled straight in his direction while still prone on the ground, the snake slithered into his shirt collar and exited a little while later. They were saying if he got bit, there was little they could do for him since he was in such a remote location and the snake's venom was very toxic.
I remember looking at my wife and saying he'd likely not make 40 doing crap like that.
