She probably nailed him again just to reinforce/refresh the influence she held over him.

she didn't frick him, as far as we are shown and even rejected his advancements.

Considering that Francesca had already bourn him a son, it's something of a stretch to believe that the wife didn't know.

She obviously knew they had a son together 20+ years ago. I'm saying in this episode francesca shows up for like 1-2 days it seems and already the wife is acting like she's lost everything, yet nothing has actually happened

Your comments make me think you didn't even watch the episode.

Watch the end. She comes on to him after rejecting him earlier.

Has this show gotten better? Seemed like people on here were lukewarm on it at first.

Watch the ending of the show again. She 'renews' their bond.

The show was never bad, I just think a lot of people were cautious for a variety of reasons. The production is good. The acting in general is decent enough, though I feel some of the younger sisters seem to be straining here a bit. The story hasn't quite settled down. You probably wouldn't really root for anybody. There were some nice boobies at one point, but there is nothing overly gratuitous. If you are familiar with the books or have seen the movies, then you already know who must eventually win (BG and the Corrinos) - just no way around that.

It's worth a good watch, but/and I don't think it's especially adding or detracting from the Dune universe in any remarkable way. One more episode to go. We'll see how they wrap this abbreviated season up. At this point, if they were to announce that there is a season two coming, I'd be ready to watch that when it premiered.

You see them standing and her touch his chest with her hand. Could they have left and frickdd some where else? Plausible.

This also happens AFTER his wife makes a move on Desmond Hart.

I have come to the realization that this show is just Game of Thrones in space.

I watched two episodes and lost interest. Does it get better or is it just not my thing?

The mother superior looks like the Emperor in Star Wars when he first revels under as Darth Sidious and has the fat face.

If that was true, then the poster before you wouldn't have had to ask:

You'd be seeing boobs and schlongs flopping all over the screen. There wouldn't be any obvious but implied sex going on.

This show is genuinely terrible. All over the place and trying to do too much. And I loved both dune movies and the world of Dune.

Honestly, I like this show. It’s a slow burn and more focused on the political intrigue of the show.

It picks up in episodes 4-6 when it starts the mystery box reveals.

The show carries the same theme as the movies and the main theme of the books: Even the most well-laid, thought out plans backfire. The path of man cannot be controlled.

It’s definitely not Dune.

Why do you say that?

The Dune universe is like 50k years.

I’m not blown away by the show, but it’s not “terrible”

It’s just a different time period of the dune universe and people shouldn’t be comparing it to the movies.

The Fremen aren’t even on Arakis yet in the story. They don’t get there for another 6-7 thousand years. The BG don’t have superpowers, they aren’t mind readers, their inside info comes from spies and gossip. They don’t control the imperium and they’re not samurai warriors either. Their skills are a theoretical possibility that’s based on science not magical. This is not Dune not even close. It’s dumb

I laughed out loud through the entire finale. As an unexpected parody it was hilarious.

They are still figuring out the agony. The fundamental themes of the BG are their but they haven't been developed yet, hence their civil war and lack of Reverend Mothers
