The finale definitely hinged on Ari. It looks like the rumored movie is going to have Ari carrying them through.
Like the relationship with Vince and Sophia, really? That's like textbook Little White Chapel wedding in Vegas.
Is Terrence still going to hunt down E? Like I don't get how it goes from 'go die E' to 'let's go on a plane and figure this out E' with Sloan.

it was nothing like it played out tonight. That is for sure. Just a poorly written finale. Also spotty acting tonight that im surprised even made it on screen. I guess they just aren't used to going that far out of their range as actors/actresses.

how many times have they had episodes with them all going out and pulling randoms in or whatever? it's been kind of a serious drama for two seasons now. the problem was that it was hard to care for the characters in all of that until the past two episodes.

i wasn't even referring to that, but just this season E fricked his girlfriends step mom and Vince had a 1 nighter with a chick he just met and is going to marry all of a sudden.
yes it has been a more serious drama type show but at least it had some interesting sub plots.
shoving a bunch of sappy, uninteresting, predictable plots into a 30 minute finale made it suck. I mean what happened tonight that people didn't see coming? that is just my opinion. Great show, just shitty ending.

Mrs Ari is so frickin smoking in that last scene.
I'm happy ari healed their relationship but there is no way he turns that job offer down!

Yeah, but at the time, very few if any, were talking about it in a good way. It was almost universally panned until one guy wrote a doctoral thesis about it explaining it down to tenths of a second and frame for frame.

The last episode was ridiculous. I don't care much to go into detail....it was just ludicrous. Even the two planes leaving side by side...that's got to be some FAA violation

After reflecting a little bit more, the ending needed a third plane for Turtle (with Alex waiting on the runway) and a fourth plane for Drama (with Dice waiting on the runway). Then all four planes could have taken off at once.

Very disappointed with the finale, but I wasn't entirely surprised given the shitty nature of the entire season.
They couldn't come up with anything better than E and Ari getting back together and Vince getting married? So random.
This show has been in a downward spiral for the past year and a half. Sad to see it go, but thought they could have done a lot better job wrapping it up.

Actually, my favorite part of this whole thing is Turtle. Guy is a major screw up, stumbled upon an investment opportunity, screwed it up, get manipulated by two cooks into splitting 50% profits....is now a millionaire...and is still hanging out and mooching of Vince.

im just not sure what you guys expect from this show.. it started with basically two seasons of Vince fricking random movie stars.. it ended with Drama saying, 'i hope we get some pussy in Paris'..
if it changes the characters, you guys hate it, if they dont change, you hate it..
its a SERIES finale, it had to have crazy things happen fast. there isnt another episode to progress..

Agree they had to tie things up with a bow so they did. After watching the series don't know how anybody was expecting different.

Decent but extremely predictable finale. Sad to see it go. Had some good one liners in this one though.

Not that anyone gives a shite, but one completely unrealistic aspect of the show has always been the amount of money Vince has to throw around on houses, cars, planes, etc. Seriously. It's not like he's steadily knocked down $20MM per movie for an extended streak. For some reason, this inconsistency bothers me. Anyway, I mostly lost interest after the second season.

She was dead set on the divorce refusing to hear anything he had to say and then in 30 seconds she has her arms around him. Maybe,just maybe, a bit contrived.
Same this with Eric and his GF. Shallow characters and bad writing is the way this series went out.
