I think its still excellent. One of the only network prime shows I watch.

So you've been watching it for the last 11 years even though it's shitty?

I had quit following it several years before, but "Peter's Progress" in Season 10 was the episode so horrible it made me swear off the show completely. Can't even stand to watch reruns.

Family hasn't been good for a while, but once they made fun of President Trump you turn into a fricking sissy.

Honestly, it feels like they didn't try with the Trump episode. And I probably hate Trump more than McFarlane.
Point is they don’t try for anything anymore

I still enjoy it. It’s not as funny overall as a few years ago but it’s still one of the funniest shows on TV and every episode has at least a couple lol moments.

it was incredible first couple years.
hilarious.
hilarious.

Family guy used to be my favorite show at some point in time. I would watch it religiously, as in wait each week for the new episodes. Now, I haven't watched it in ages it seems like. The show just went downhill for me. Either my interests greatly changed, or the show just started to suck, or maybe both.
The last major episode I remember watching was when Stewie killed Louis. I felt like that was a good point for the series to end, but yet here we are like 6 years later and it is still going on strong somehow.
Edit: I just checked, the Stewie kills Lois episode came out in freaking 2007. So I have not watched the show in over 11 years. I honestly had no idea it had been that long.

South Park being the best example
Them ripping on Trump too much with Garrison was the least of their issues during the member berries season. While there were still good memorable episodes that season, it was the worst season of the show overall. They rebounded well, imo. South Park had one mediocre season in over 20 years. Family Guy hasn't had a good season in almost a decade.

President Garrison fricking people to death was some of the best action in recent years and way better than the member-berries and serialization.
I don't really remember anyone bitching about SP making fun of Trump, despite any claims made in this thread by people who obviously don't read this board much.
Family Guy has always been hit and miss. Probably more miss since they got away from Evil Stewie.

F&%k 'em all to death! was hysterical
The stuff with Canada was excellent
The Stranger Things one with Garrison in the woods was just kinda weird. That seemed like a bit that would have worked better with Al Gore, but they made up for it with Manbearpig being real last season. That was incredible.

Family Guy hasn’t changed much the past ten years. Stewie hasn’t been evil in a long time and he’s better for it.

Wow. Trump fanboys are as thin skinned and sensitive as Trump himself. Who knew

tried to watch the new "Trump Guy" episode the other night, and just couldnt get through it. Unoriginal and unrecogniazble from its early form
FG has been political and has leaned strongly left for YEARS. It's MacFarlane's "frick you" to the Fox network. Don't act like this is a new development.

Family guy has always been a trashy show for unintelligent people IMO.

I don't care about Trump, but when they announced that they were going to be "phasing out" the gay jokes, I knew it was going to die soon. I'm so sick of the gay reverence cult. Pedo grandpa, babies getting pumped up the arse and Quagmire being a straight-up rapist are okay, but the holy fricking gays are off limits.
Makes you wonder less why the officer corps of the Nazi Brown Shirts were all homos.
I havent watched much family guy over the past 5/6 years I had no idea they announced they were doing that, its a shame how shows cater to bullshite like this. Was watching Chapelle Show the other day and was thinking wow if someone tried to make a show like this now, it would never air on tv

Yeah, but it really seemed to take a noticeable nosedive after Emelia Clark left Seth in real life. The show's humor took a noticeably darker turn and became much less funny, much more edgy, far more political, and much more sad. It seemed like Seth couldn't separate the show from his personal life, and it was pretty toxic. The show went from pretty good to barely watchable. Then, after a couple seasons, Seth pretty much stopped being involved at all and it went onto auto-pilot. It's really just become beyond stale at this point.

I know this is a silly criticism to level at Family Guy, which is famous for its lazy writing, but calling something "gay" is also lazy as hell. If you still call things "gay," I really hope that you're no older than 15.

And this is kinda my problem.
Haven't seen the Trump show, if it is recent. I only watch it casually on Hulu, and am several episodes behind.
