I cried like a baby when they drowned, I literally wept. I lost it when the life and death score started because I knew what was about to happen.

i love life and death so much...this thread is making me realize just how much i love this show. If my #1 show wasnt so far and away my #1, I think LOST would have passed it up this week

Because it's stupid. That's my only issue with the finale. Sayid should have been with Nadia in the end, while Boone and Shannon (as fricked up as it sounds) should have been in the sideways universe. Shannon was just some action for Sayid on the side, while Nadia was his true love. That was the entire point of Sayid's character.

Yeah, they messed that up didn't they? I mean Sayid was with Nadia in the flash sideways too. Nadia made Sayid who he was. I don't understand why they did that. Shannon and Boone were step siblings so it wouldn't have been that weird.

While this is true they used Shannon to have Sayid remember. They could have easily used a number of things to have him remember but I know why they did it.
