They weren't in focus, it was just Jon and then an army in front of him. Also, the NK controls all of them, so he could've just been showing Jon what he's about to have to fight and then send them after him.

Didn't Euron originally want to marry Dany?? Maybe he was still referring to Dany but Cersei assumed he was talking about her. I think if they did get married that he'd kill Cersei pretty fast and take the throne for himself.

I'm not sure about that. He really despises his fans at this point. He's far worse than George Lucas ever was. I have unfortunately come to the conclusion he has no intention of moving forward with the books. I don't think we'll get Winds, because he would have released it this year when he cockteased us it could have happened last year.
I doubt he's written 10 pages since last season, so frick the fat piece of shite.

Seriously, though, I think he may be looking at the show, which has cleaner storylines, then looking at all of the storylines that he has to somehow bring together in the books and is thinking "why bother?" I mean, if he was really serious about finishing TWOW, we would not be getting all of this side project crap.

Yara was sent with Ellaria to get the Dornish army and lay seige to king's landing (because Tyrion said it would look bad if they used foreigners like the dothraki to take the capital). Since they never made it to Dorne, it's safe to say the Dornish army is still intact... but who knows who's running the show down there now.

Dany has an army of 100K savages that are known for raping and pillaging. I don't think he wants to ally with her. Plus the Tyrells in the show had no future since all the heirs were dead. Hell all the main real Tyrells (since Olena is a Redwyne) are dead.

yeah. i buy into the Tyrell Dragonstone conspiracy with Loras so it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out in Winds. I also don't think the destruction of the Sept happens, at least not with the degree of casualties as the show

Since Danny rides Drogon and Rheagal is named after Jons father and probably Jons future mount, those two are going to be safe. Viserion, whos named after her brother, is the most likely to die. Odds are we will see a Dragon wight brought back from the Nights King, thats what I would do if I was writing the show.

I guess there's a somewhat creative way they could do it that I can't think of myself. I honestly hadn't even thought of that happening, but now w/ the giants being shown in the first episode that may have been a bit of foreshadowing for a dragon coming in the future.
