Well, it’s been quite the ride. I can’t say I’ve enjoyed the ride in some time, but I suppose there must be some points awarded for closure. It wasn’t a bad episode up through Jon killing Dany and Drogon leaving, I suppose.
I really did not understand the point of letting the Unsullied/Dothraki demand any terms. Just send Arya and one or two more to break Jon/Tyrion out and slaughter the foreigners to a man.
Choosing Bran as king made no sense whatsoever. Have a council (i.e. House of Lords) rule the kingdoms, akin to what essentially happened in Britain. It makes for a much more believable transition of power. Why even elect a king at this point?
Someone should really tell Greyworm about those butterflies in Naath.
Arya having the “sailing west” narrative tacked on felt jarring. Her storyline only ever had three possible conclusions IMO: marry Gendry, die finishing her list, or survive and return to Braavos to finish transitioning into a Faceless Man.
Brienne finishing Jamie’s entry in The White Book was pretty cathartic. I did enjoy that.
Exiling Jon to a now defunct Wall was the dumbest damn thing of the whole episode. There’s no way he or anyone else ought to follow that order once he’s in the North.
I don’t know. I was too invested to not finish watching, but this is definitely a top 3 least satisfying ending for me. I, as well as at least 3-4 other people on this board alone, could have written a better ending than this. It was rushed, it was lazy, and it was shallow.
This show seemed to trade all of the depth it previously had in exchange for “junk food” like nice CGI and massive battle scenes. It was hollow and unfulfilling.
Such is life, I suppose.

Yes and it’s an odd time to insert some dumb comedy in what you would think would be a very serious scene.

Honestly, this still puzzles the hell out of me. This was the biggest show going and if they wanted to do 10 full episodes, they could have.

So...basically, what i’m Gathering from the whole series is this.
If an entitled white bitch decides to virtue signal and convince a bunch of “people of color” to “Fix the system”, she’s really just going to use her power to wipe out all that disagree with her in the name of “breaking the wheel.”
And white men will have to be the ones to stop her and her foreign horde.
Kind of surprised me coming from HBO.

That’s exactly why he was sent to the “black.” He was basically set free to live you his time with his best friends (Tormund and Ghost). That made more sense than most things in this entire series.

I agree, why is the wall or the Knight's watch needed anymore?
Basic answer, "We still need some place to put extra sons and shitty people."
I think not.

How the hell did King’s Landing get rebuilt so fast?
If the North is a free country, what is north of the north?
What was Pod’s position?
How the hell is Bronn master of coin? He will spend the entire bank on whores

They wanted to move onto their Star Wars deal.

so the Starks... which were all but on the precipice of being wiped out after 3x09 now rule all 7 Kingdoms... with Bran the Broken ruling 6 while Sansa rules the independent North (with Bran ruling in King's Landing... I doubt that independence is real
)
meanwhile... Jon Aegon Targaryen Snow is heading north of The Wall to become the new Night King... rinse, lather, repeat
meawhile... the Lannisters (or at least Tyrion) did pay his debt by giving Bronn Highgarden
So at the end of the game of thrones it's...
King's Landing - Bran Stark
Winterfell - Sansa Stark
Dragonstone - Gendry Barathon?
HighGarden & The Reach(?) - Bronn
Iron Islands & Riverlands (?) - Yara Greyjoy
Casterly Rock - Tyrion Lannister?
Am I missing anything?

I don’t get why any of the lords in that kingdom would approve of him. I mean he is some low born mercenary who only get it because he threatened to kill the very Hand who give him the spot.

b/c their king said so... plus hes also Master of Coin

So since Jon killed Dany, does that now make him Khal according to their rules?

Also hilarious because Bronn quite literally said in an earlier season to Tyrion himself, he knew nothing about trading and finances. In addition he’s a greedy merc, not the type of person you’d want to trust with money. Him being a master of war would’ve made more sense.

But if we're being realistic, after he made his threats to Jaime and Tyrion, then walked out, 100 men would be sent to hunt him down and kill him.
I was rooting for this. I was always kind of sick of his know-it-all bullshite.
