All great shows. Life was awesome, shame it got canned so they could have Leno's show on NBC. Rome was canceled due to the budget. Awesome show that had so much to offer for a long time if they could have kept it going.

Oooohhh.. just saw season 1 and 2 in the last few months... one of the BEST shows I've ever seen! I wish they would have finished it, as it ended on such a cliff hanger.

I bet the guy who canceled this show looked back and said WTF did I do. The cast was outstanding and the acting was top notch.

It was never really said why it was canceled but I am sure the combination of contact renewals, very realistic story lines as well as being up against "Who wants to be a Millionaire" all contributed to it's demise.

It was good until Jennifer Garner got pregnant.

Tour of Duty

Some of you are too young to remember, but it was the first TV series to tackle Vietnam and the problems combat soldiers faced. It started out with the haunting song, "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones.

Dark Shadows

Sure, it lasted five years, but it was great! It featured werewolves, ghosts, zombies, man-made monsters, witches, warlocks, time travel (both into the past and into the future), and a parallel universe.
