Saw it last week, it didn’t really resonate with me. I think it’s a movie that hits way harder if you have kids which I don’t. Not saying it sucks, just didn’t do anything for me. Probably dosent help that I’m not a big Shakespeare guy. Acting and cinematography were great though. Chloe Zao is clearly very talented.

Movie was a drag.
Spoilers
Just an hour and a half of woman giving birth and kids getting ill and son dying, all to set up about 20-30 minutes of Hamlet at the Globe. Acting was fine, but the setup for the final act should have taken 30 minutes, max.
A waste of 2 hours. Do not recommend.

Just watched it on Peacock. It’s an absolute lock for best picture, director and actress. It was so good and nailed the ending so well I hit start over and watched it again. Bravo.

Really good movie and Buckley deserves best actress, That said, knowing the kid was doomed from the start made it difficult to enjoy the first half of the movie - I was just waiting for the inevitable. Once they bit that bullet, the movie became much more interesting and the ending was great.
