Bad Boys (sean penn not will smith)

Yes, Used Cars (Kurt Russell) is the best comedy from that era that most folks I know have never seen.

And the Sean Penn "Bad Boys" is a highly underrated movie. Great cast too.
from Wiki, "Bad Boys is a 1983 American coming-of-age[2] crime drama film set in a juvenile detention center, starring Sean Penn, Esai Morales, and Clancy Brown, Alan Ruck and Ally Sheedy in their film debuts."

"any" indeed, but most especially Uncle Buck which was written specifically for Hughes' friend John Candy

Porkys

We went to New Orleans and stayed at the Hilton attached to the Dome years ago, my cousin and I got drunk and feel asleep with PPV Porkeys on.

It played on a loop over and over all night, my dad wanted to kill us when he got the bill

An under the radar film that was actually an understated pleasure. Elias Kotteas in what may have been his film debut

I was a huge fan of 80s Scifi/Fantasy.

The other morning while walking the dog, the movie Solarbabies popped into my head randomly.

They would never make a movie like this today. Maybe a similar plot, but it would be a CGI clusterfrick with none of the charm nor humanity.
