The ringer podcast ripped the trailer apart

They said this was your one chance to get everyone roped in with action and dialogue and classic music and you chose to mock the Budweiser ads…

It comes out in 90 days, not next year

No.

1st 2 seasons were solid.

3rd season became the Bo-Katan show.

Id be excited if they were releasing a new season of the show. The movie is only 2 hours so basically 2.5 episodes.

I dont see how they conclude the entire story in that short of time.

They either know it's going to suck or they think because it's a Star Wars movie it's going to gross a billion no matter what.

no, this feels like disney is saying "hey you guys liked these things. Here's a move where the two things you liked will now suck."

I’m intrigued but not excited. I don’t have a lot of faith in it after watching The Book of Boba Fett, Season 3 of the Mandalorian, and Ahsoka.

My prediction is it will be watchable, but wildly mediocre while looking quite cheap despite its budget.

Meanwhile, Andor is literally the best and highest production value scify I have seen since season 1 of Westworld.

I don't get the hate for Ahsoka. I thought it was cast well, and had an interesting story especially if you're a fan of Rebels.

I might be the only one, but I enjoyed the Boba Fett series better than Mando season three

They might as well have just called it season three

I thought the casting was excellent too, but the characters weren’t written well. Ahsoka was far too overserious and stoic, Thrawn was written as an idiot just to ensure the plot could happen, sets and costumes looked way cheaper than the budget, storyline was solid for sure. It just felt a little stiff and a little hokey much of the time.

I just don’t understand why costumes and sets look so cheap on the star wars shows that aren’t Andor. Everything in the other shows looks brand new or extremely fake or an obvious sound stage. Andor, on the other hand, feels grimy, lived in, real. It makes the other shows look like comparing the super hero shows on the CW vs the Dark Knight or Iron Man.

She had to disappear for a while as she was being hunted. I don't think her demeanor changing as she grew up during that time is too far-fetched.

I only watched once, but I don't recall what he did to warrant this. The complaint I remember was he was pudgy and not the ripped warrior from Rebels.

Again, I'd have to watch again, but I remember liking how the busted up stormtroopers and flagship looked after years of neglect.

I don't necessarily think it's going to be anything ground breaking but yes I am excited to see it. I love (almost) anything Star Wars

about 4 episodes of BOBF were defacto Mando episodes and those were the best ones.

I agree season 3 of Mando got away from him as the main character too
much, but I still enjoyed more than I disliked.

I liked when it ended up too, with Mando talking to the XWing pilot. I thought that had legs

I finished season one simply based on the high praise it got. Never was crazy about it. Stopped a few episodes into S2 because the entire premise of the show was basically "Hey hold this baby while I go do something cool." Not the worst premise but it got old for me.

All that being said, even not knowing where the story left off, I'll at least watch this on streaming.
