Dude, they're rebooting fricking Matlock with Kathy Bates in the title role. There's nothing original on the broadcast networks.

PG-13 T&A can't carry a show today like it could in the 90s I'm afraid.

There is nothing original anywhere. There’s 7 basic plots that ALL stories consist of throughout recorded history. EVERY story now is a retelling with details changed.

It's hilarious only the studios don't realize what the whole country realizes - that the original Baywatch was popular almost solely due to bimbo playmates being the lifeguards.

More like they saw the success of the firefighter/rescue shows and were like well let’s do that but at a beach and forgot that baywatch existed. They also don’t have the babes that Baywatch had nor the simple catchy name. Or great intro music.
