Checked this movie out last night and was pretty impressed and it kept my attention throughout. It’s listed as horror/sci-fi but I’d call it more thriller/sci-fi. The opening of the movie is almost too much though with the sensory overload (felt almost like Uncut Gems) but still pretty cool and appreciate what they were going for. It calms it down significantly on that and it’s a pretty cool premise which keeps you guessing. Overall a solid 7/10 for not really hearing anything about it. It’s not an A24 movie but it feels like if A24 did a take on a late 90s/early 2000s HS/college reunion movie. Feel like they could make a few more of these and really knock them out of the park. Could be a fun franchise.

It does what “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies” does, but a lot better. And Pete Davidson isn’t in this, so another plus.

Wasn’t a big fan. Really cool concept, but god the dialogue was insufferable. Just felt the execution was very lacking.

Mrs Vox put this on tonight and I had absolutely no idea what we were starting to watch. It's definitely never going to draw criticism because of being predictable or like everything else that comes out.

I think this is very much going to grow on me over time

Very true. Just made it so difficult to get through.

I unfortunately called the end very early on and that probably didn’t help but feel a little let down from it. And being underwhelmed. The way that character was described and then kind of forgotten about made it too obvious to me.

As another said though, there is some cool stuff there though that you could build a franchise world out of the concept.

Yeah, they telegraphed their asses off that that individual wasn't brought up on accident

I wasn’t buzzing and got lost cause I stepped away for a moment. Had to rewind. It was a different movie, which made me enjoy it more. It’s solid.

My #1 gripe was that the filmmakers treated it like a foregone conclusion that we knew each of the principal characters by name and understood their history/interconnections.

The Polaroid idea was brilliant and helped immensely.

Just finished and enjoyed it, even though I felt like I had anxiety the whole time. No fricking way I’d agree to do that shite. I thought “Forbes” was going to kill somebody in a different body and they have to take the blame for it. Not exactly what happened but close. Really cool original flick

I thought Forbes was the one who was going to get revenge on all the cool kids.

Love the idea of this. Didn’t care for the execution. But I appreciate the creativity of it and the effort. I agree that they seemed to assume we knew the characters a little too much, but they did a solid job with the Polaroids and the red-lens camera shots.

Solid effort, but they could’ve done much better IMO. But all in all I enjoyed it.

Meh, reminded me of Midsummer: girl has severe insecure problems, screws with guy’s head. Takes out it on him in the end as if he’s the source of her introspective misery.

Take as old as time.

That was the biggest issue for me, I could barely get through the movie because I didn't care at all for any of the characters. I feel like if you don't have a sort of connection or investment, you're going to struggle as a viewer.

I'm usually not one to complain about stuff like this, but we had to turn on the subtitles because every last one of these mush-mouthed brats mumbled throughout the film.
