I am still so pissed that Man of Steel was so bad that Marvel went overboard on trying to do the opposite and made Ultron such a letdown. Like it's impressive that the DCU was so bad it made Marvel worse as well.

When Man of Steel came out there was massive backlash about how Superman doesn't kill, wouldn't let the city be destroyed like that, etc.
So Age of Ultron comes out and wow, so surprising, a major theme is making sure everyday people are saved and rescued along with a lot of devastation seemingly removed.
Hell even Batman V Superman had a line edited in while Diana is on the plane from a news broadcasting the appearance of Doomsday that specifically mentions that everyone in the city had been evacuated.
So while no one at Marvel has ever came out and admitted they edited or rewrote AoU in response to the feedback from Man of Steel, the finished product certainly did not match how they talked about the film in interviews/etc.

He was so menancing in the trailer too.
I wonder if there was a much harder version initially and Disney stepped in to tamp it down.

Maybe this is not the board for you

Let’s not give Disney too much credit. Most of their recent creative success has come from Fox Studios, not Disney, and they grossly overpaid for Fox.

Comments like these are why shampoo bottles have instructions on them
Until the people that work stop answering to those groups rooted in race and gender politics, Disney will always have handicapped stories that come out like a wet fart. They're desperate to try and dress up the garbage with nostalgia and legitimate talent as side characters. It doesn't work and hasn't worked.
Once you understand the core belief system you can see it promoted in everything they put out. Simple as that and their company value reflects the poor quality output.
The shampoo bottle directions are for the fools still expecting quality. They aren't committed to quality, they're committed to "equity".

Avatar is James Cameron
Doesn’t really matter what studio.
he will produce technically
amazing dumb blue people movies that will make billions and then never be discussed again.
But I think X Men is the only shot at saving the MCU, so if they pull it off its worth it.

Great trailer and great examples of disconnect between trailer and movie.
Also, about 10 or 15 seconds in, there is a chick running for cover with absolutely massive tits it looks like.
