Stewart will be almost impossible to replace. Oliver is the only choice. They need to back up the Brinks Truck

I wonder if John Mulaney could pull off hosting the Daily Show. Don't know if he's into political humor though.

They'll probably give it to someone already from the show though.

Give it to Lewis Black and let him burn the fricker down around his ears.

I pray it's not Rob Riggle or some crap.

That would be a disaster.

Probably the only choice that would make me stop watching. Can't stand him.

He can't be considered. They have to know he can only be digested in small doses.

Something tells me Craig Kilborn isn't too busy these days. Bring him back.

Brian Williams should take over. He's a funny guy, and he's out of work for a while anyway.

That would be pretty awesome actually

BW would probably never do it but I think that would benefit both parties considerably

He's not funny enough for a late night show but I could see him transitioning into something like Larry King.

So is the Daily Show done or are they getting a new host? No one will ever be able to fill those shoes, so they might as well call it a day.

I love the dude, but his sitcom sucked. He needs to not be on tv for a while.

Good thing this isn't a sitcom

Kilbourn really was better. 5 questions was always epic.

I think it's time. The show has been on a slow decline the past few years, and it's top talent has gone on to news shows (Oliver, Whitmore). I think it would be a nice shot for Samantha Bee to host, but honestly... I'd rather they just close up shop. The Daily Show has run its course, and its made its point that now everyone agrees with: the media is stupid and it is more entertainment that fact.

It was always about entertainment. You're taking it too seriously if you think otherwise.
