Watching Season 7 now.

So, despite my starting this thread and having high hopes for the show, we actually didn’t even make it all the way through season 1. Maybe I need to go give it another shot.

I'm into season 3 right now. Acting and production is excellent. The writing is a bit slow but story keeps me interested. As many have said the rape scenes are cringy. Based on commentary here I'm lowering my expectations for seasons 4 and 5.
I did buy a bottle of Sassenach blended scotch whiskey. I really enjoyed it.

The writing is generally so slow (or the production is long...should have been more on the cutting floor) you can have Outlander on TV and LSU baseball on your iPhone.
The only issue with multitasking I find that I need subtitles to understand Jamie and the rest of the the Scots when they talk.

That was me, my wife calls it that and I found it hilarious
She actually doesn't like this show at all so we stopped watching somewhere around season 4 or so
I think there was yet another melodramatic raping and she was like "Alright, this is retarded"

My wife went through a smut phase and it was awesome for our marriage. She has since moved on to non smut books and I beg her to read smut books on a weekly basis.
