Did he really apologize with "I'm sorry, I was probably drunk..."

That's a tad flippant for this having to do with a 14-year old.

I wonder how the people at House of Cards like this and if it will have any affect on that role

What a piece of garbage trying to hide behind being gay and drunk for being a pedophile.

Is there a pattern? Is he just a dirty old queen or an actual pedo?

I understand the victim was 14. If it’s an isolated incident I quote Ricky Bobbby. “Please let her be 18.”

14 looking 18 is a stretch though.

It’s an evil genius PR move though. Apology, alcohol, and come out

I don't know any adult who has gotten drunk and hit on a high school freshman.

I did say it was a stretch. I’ve never in my adult life come across a 14 year old girl that I didn’t know she had to be too young.

That was my thought as well.

What's scary is that he doesn't even remember it. The old "I don't remember that, but I'm sorry" routine. Which is fine if you didn't remember screwing over your buddy 20 years ago playing Nintendo. But not when we're talking about legit, statutory rape. And it also begs the question of does he not remember at all, or not remember this particular incident because there were so many others like it. I would be willing to bet it is the latter.

I wonder if it's that or if it's just his way to distance himself from actually taking responsibility for it and avoid directly admitting guilt. I feel like this is the more likely explanation. Not like it necessarily makes it any better.

so far the media isnt really letting Spacey off the hook for his sexual harassment. itll be an interesting couple of weeks to see how this plays out. if more people come forward, he is definitely done.

It's in the wording.
You can't choose to be gay.
You can choose to live as a gay man.

The mental image of Ian Mckellan, dressed up as Gandalf, bent over a bed and screaming at Viggo Mortenson that he shall pass makes up for this.

Viggo has never commented on this story but apparently he and Hugh Jackman had some weird on the set encounters with Ian.
