Hottest part of the show. Better than Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph, who would come off as hotter if her character wasn't portrayed as such a dumb annoying slut.

I like her but Id give the edge to the seniorita. Something about her that I like. Plus, I like boobs.

IRL actress is fine... the dead husband and bastard kid is a bit of a turnoff as far as the character.

Kayce Dutton is getting his own show next summer (Y: Marshals), so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Yeah, she's got something, that's for sure. She's not traditional hot, but there's something about the way she carries herself.

Hey Dirk, I see that you received 9 downvotes regarding your claim that almost zero applicants get accepted to UGA with a 29 or less ACT. I have attached the 2025 freshman class acceptance metrics in support of your claim.

For the University of Georgia's 2025 freshman admissions (Class of 2029), over 47,860 students applied, and more than 15,800 were accepted. The middle 50% of admitted students had a core GPA between 4.08 and 4.35, with an average of 4.22. The mid-50% SAT score range was 1300–1470, and the mid-50% ACT range was 30–34.

So Dirk, there were probably a few outliers who got in with a 29 but they would have needed a high weighted GPA with at least 8 AP classes and and whole lot of extracurriculars and volunteer community service hours. But you were right and for some reason it makes fans of the degree mill Universities in the SEC mad.

Or be good at sports.

The avg ACT score for UGA was 29, as of 2023-2024. So, quite a few below 29 had to be admitted to average 29.

Also, I am entering late and not sure what this topic has to do with Landman.

People can get hung up on the smallest details. It's a tv show about fictional characters, it's supposed to be entertaining. I don't care what the enrollment requirements are.... at any school.

The first half of last season was really, really good. Then it drifted in to silliness. Especially with the wife & daughter. There are some really good storylines but their cringey scenes eat up way too much screen time. The premiere continued that crap.

Do you think there is an alternate message board somewhere full of women that are complaining that this show has too much oil field/BBT serious stuff and needs to be more focussed on the women and their adventures?

I bet there is

I finally got around to watching this, I'm starting episode six. Angela is a piece of work, must be that crazy pussy factor. I like his son Cooper but he's gonna get himself killed if he hasn't already.

I wish they'd stick to the oil fields and the business of the oil industry.
The oilfield drama, especially with Monty dying and his wife taking over, plus the cartel stuff, is more than enough material for an interesting series. The son doing his own thing also has potential. The wife/daughter and the widow/baby are poorly written, repetitive, and take away from the show.

Just don’t go let them go to the nursing home again

I loved the nursing home scenes. Not so much Rick's Cabaret. But the nursing home stuff was funny. My 84 year old mom LOVED the nursing home scenes. I don't hate the mom and daughter. They are just a little too much. I much prefer them to the lawyer.

But again, he could have written great characters, but he doesn't know when to stop.

Maybe we should think of the Taylor Sheridan shows as over the top, caricatures of their actual topics.

Man I get so tired of the smarter than everyone girl boss shite from Sheridan. One single attorney isn’t going to go into that room. Especially if it’s a company as big as the one she’s representing. She’s not as bad as Beth, who may have been the worst written character in tv history, but that shite gets old to me.

Especially considering that the smarter than everyone female attorney has never once been in those types of conversations and you’ve got your seasoned attorney who knows that language like the back of his hand sitting right next to her. But sure. Let’s let the rookie, spunky woman go talk to those people.
