The list of A-B list actors is thin because they all acted like fricking lunatics during this past election. Get any TDS Trump hating actor in there and they instantly lose over 1/2 their audience

I could see that. He and son against Demi and his old company. Room for lots and lots of drama there.
Again, have to say the son and Mexican chick story is awful. The old folks stuff is better than that crap.

How soon can they really fast track this storyline without being completely absurd?
Well we know it takes TS years to get a second season done.
I predict the plan is hatched in the finale, then there’s a time jump to season 2 and we drop back in right in the middle of it.

Mayor of Kingstown seems to be the outlier where he didn’t inject a bunch of cartoonish patronizing bullshite into it.
Tulsa King didn't have any patronizing crap or filler episodes. But I guess those two shows are the outliers.

We keep getting nuggets about how Tommy should’ve been a billionaire if he hadn’t had bad luck in the 80’s. Think Demi taking over eventually forces him to start working for his son and they hit it big?
Not that I'm some Nostradomus, because Sheridan telegraphs shite from a mile away, but I called this! Sheridan loves some boss bitches, and Demi has been severely underutilized this season. This seems intentional now to set up Ham stepping down and Demi running the show with the other boss bitch attorney.
Sheridan is so damn predictable.

Mexican chick
At least she's eye candy so it's not totally wasted.

Does anyone else think it's weird how Billy Bob Thornton drinks a beer?
It looks like he is doing something completely unnatural.

The character has agreed several times that he is drinking what he considers fake beer, so he probably agrees with you.

I think its to make sure the logo is always facing the camera

What kills me is Tommy is supposed to be this ruthless oil SOB and lets his daughter get railed while she is upstairs. Ain't no way somebody working 30 years out there would even remotely let that happen. Hell the Mexicans almost killed little Tommy just for being at a girls house.

Yeah, two episodes ago Tommy is saying “humor me and just don’t let me know that you’re having sex.”
Now it’s “Sure, go on upstairs and get railed after family dinner. We’ll just turn the music up.”

I guess Demi will have an ax to grind if she blames Tommy’s son for the death of her husband and use the female lawyer to do all she can to crush him
She has been quiet until now, so she may become hell on wheels following the death.

Do we know for certain Jon Hamm’s character is dead?
Posted on 1/6/25 at 4:51 pm to Old Man and a Porch
I love the show. The mom and daughter are a bit much and need to be throttled back.
John Hamm is so good.
Billy Bob brings his A game.

It would be on brand for Sheridan to kill off Jon Hamm and make it BBT and a bunch of Boss Bitches.

Seeing as he is the landman, I doubt that is going to happen.

No, and I doubt he is. He's had less than 20 total lines in the show so far, and he's probably the best actor in the lot.

2nd best, probably. Best would be Colm Feore.

Then what was that last phone call about? It sure seemed like it was the boss' wife calling him to tell him the boss died.
