decent season. but the worst season as well. the CB going to oregon state was the only legit player on the team. RJ got shite on. he is a decent WR. The other WR had the good story but cant catch for shite. that was by far the most lethargic team in the series. they never showed emotion other than when the other team was dancing on their field.

All the fake people please stand up! @Brittany_MSgirl how quickly we forget that you asked me to be my academic advisor for season 3 & 4! But, we both know I've sent far more kids to college with higher grad rates & higher GPA's than you ever did or will! Google it! #justkeepit??

This guys must have some serious mental issues and is delusional. There is no way that she tried to go to ICC she was already making rounds and trying parlay her fame from the show into speaking engagements etc before that season.

This season is great and you do really good for the kids and coaches. I liked how the focused on the “town” of Oakland but they went a little over board with the gentrification is bad because white people are moving in and now that the city is nice not everyone can live here anymore.

He's looking for a reason to plug his podcast and get his name out there. His career in coaching is over and he should know that by now.

Just finished it and it doesn't measure up to the previous seasons. IMO

Probably because it didn’t have a villain that everyone could hate watch

Everyone was too likeable or at least likeable enough that you were pulling for them

All the other seasons had at least 1 or 2 pull people that you could actively want to fail

Finished this morning. While this coach and featured players are more likeable than any other season...I thought this was prob the most boring season out of the bunch for a lot of reasons:

- the talent level and play was cringeworthy compared to the other seasons with rosters full of D1 athletes. There were no backstories about why they were at a JC. Basically they were there because they just weren’t good.

- there really wasn’t any unlikabke characters which let to basically zero drama or humor. No players or coaches there (except maybe the DB) had any realistic expectations of making it. They were all just hoping a dream would come true.

- there were no teachers/counselors influencing the kids to really be anything more than they already were.

It wasn’t Last Chance U but basically Juco life U.

I like the coach. He seems like a very grounded human being. Unlike the last 2 schools they did.

This show is so much better without a garbage human of a head coach.

As far as the D1 prospects aspect. They probably should have showcased Lackawanna (Pipeline for Penn State) or Grand Rapids Community College

What the coach told Nu’u seems to apply to a lot of these kids. “You love playing football but don’t love being a college football player.”

Glad to see some of these kids move on to bigger stuff. The no scholarships, find your own housing, etc makes it infinitely tougher on the kids than the previous schools.

That one female athletic admin cared about the situation with Dior this season. She talked to him the day after the 60 point game where his folks acted like children in the stands.

They edited in most of the crowd noise and it annoyed me. You can tell because there is this high female shriek each time.

Dior is the most likeable person that’s been on the series and it’s not even close. Have two episodes left though

One of the people he reminded me of game wise was Davone Bess. Interestingly enough, he is going to Hawaii and I noticed one of the jerseys behind Beam in his office was Bess's

Seeing Dior in a room with his own bed made me so happy for him. Such a great kid!

The other two were Jerry Springer trash. Buddy Stephens was awful and Jason Brown was unbearable.

I liked this season better than the rest because I believe they were trying to get a away from the Jason Brown coaches and drama queen players that made it unwatchable.

This season may not be as good as the predecessors but it was nice taking a break from the noise pollution of the past seasons.
