Solid first episode. That ibex leaping around that cliff was crazy.
And Oprah is horrendous as a narrator. Whoever chose her for this part needs to be kicked square in the nuts.

The first two episodes tnight really got me pumped. I am gonna pre-order these on bluray asap. Gonna be the best blurays since Planet Earth IMO

+1. I don't get why Discovery hires outside narrators when they have Mike Rowe, who is God's gift to modern day narration, IMO. Weaver was good on Planet Earth though.

I must have been the only one, but it really didn't bother me that much. I'll admit I liked Weaver's voice much better, but all the shots they got made any problems I might have with Oprah really not matter.

It is a great show, but Oprah is a blight on this show. She just doesn't sound smart. It's not a clear flow of narration. Choppy at times. She almost sounds like she is trying to impersonate a voice. It's aggrivating.
