Also, this season was sooooooo much better than the first one.
Soundtrack was on point again. Plenty of Wu Tang. The "guest performers" at Harlem's Paradise were ridiculous.
i honestly watch this show for the nightclub scenes and luke walking around Harlem like a badass to 70s funk in the background.
and maybe the ocassional booby.

Misty's rack is CONSTANTLY bouncing. I love it.
I still have to finish episode 13 but I loved season 2. And +1billion on liking the soundtrack, Harlems Paradise features and the vibe of the show in general.

Damn!
I just finished it. The take on the iconic Godfather scene was annoyingly on the nose but that was a really good season and even better final 30 minutes. I’m looking forward to the next season of Luke Cage more than any of the other series except for DD.

Fun fact: Simone Missick's husband Dorian is the actor who plays Cockroach.
We get to see more of her later this year when the 2nd season of Iron Fist comes out.
I'm still not sure if she looks her age (36), older or younger.

Overall I liked this season more than the first one. The last few episodes were a bit meh but I'm glad they didn't kill Bushmaster.

2. Jessica Jones season 1
3. Daredevil season 1
4. Luke Cage season 2
5. Punisher
6. Defenders
7. Jessica Jones season 2
8. Luke Cage season 1
9. Iron Fist

I can't take your list seriously putting Jessica Jones above punisher.

I knew we were in for a treat when episode one opens to Luke kicking arse while jamming Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. 2.

The issues I had with season 2 was how much they made race such an issue. Way more in season 2 than in season 1.

Not that i really care, but i do'nt understand the need for everyone in the show to casually toss around the word **** constantly.
Given the political climate of this country, and what hollywood wants to portray to us in just about all of their movies and shows, showing educated black people call each other that as if they were thugs from the street is pretty stupid imo. It's one thing for Mariahs terrible acting arse to say it, it's another for Misty to talk like that.

I haven't finished it yet, have 2 episodes left. It's been an alright show so far. Was excited to see Danny come fight with Luke, but their fight scenes are just terrible, although i did like the Iron Fist to Luke's hands to knock everyone out scene. Not that Luke needs it, but the actor that plays Danny just isn't naturally gifted enough to be a good fighter on screen. I guess since DD season 1 and the hallway fight scene, and then the stairwell scene in season 2, we've been spoiled, although i did enjoy Bushmaster's fighting style when he fought Luke on the bridge. That was pretty awesome.
The acting throughout this show is terrible, but it doesn't bother me too much, i still enjoy it, and Misty needs to let those puppies out a bit more.
IMO, Luke and JJ need to combine their show going forward. They can each have their own arc in the show, but both of them could use the extra time on screen from someone we actually care about. I find myself fast forwarding through most of Mariah's scenes. I just don't care enough about her. Same with Trish and Hogarth in JJ. It's not that i do'nt care about these people at all, i just do'nt need to know so much about what they are doing. they simply need less screen time.
and it still aggravates me that Cottonmouth was wasted. This show would be 10x's better if it was him instead of Mariah going forward.

Haven’t finished yet, but Danny Rand just showed up and i’m pretty annoyed. Anyone else think he’s annoying and hard to watch?

He's so much better in this season than he was in his season 1 or the Defenders.

I didn't dislike him as much as most. I think it's one of the weaker points in the Netflix stuff, but I didn't hate the show.

Because he’s only in it for a 1/4 of an episode. Glad he just made a quick cameo appearance in the season and didn’t play a major part

Just watched the last episode of Cloak and Dagger. They directly connected their show with Luke Cage as O'Reilly talks about when she used to be in Harlem. In Episode 8 of Luke Cage Season 2, Nandi makes the comment, "Callahan went to Maui and O'Reilly to New Orleans."

I’m currently watching it.
Minor spoiler
I just wanted to point out the absurdity of a 40–year-old one-armed woman with minimal martial arts training beating up a bar full of men.

I agree. When he fought the "white" cartel, he was breaking bones left and right. Never saw that when fighting the Jamaicans or Stokes' crew.

Just finished. In the Top Tier of Marvel Netflix Seasons with JJ1, Punisher and DD1.
Great season and really solid end with Luke as King.
Good stuff all around from the show.
