but I don’t care about this character.

This is one of their biggest problems IMO. As a non-comic-reader, it's hard for me to get into characters that I have literally never heard of in my life. Iron Man, Superman, Hulk, Spiderman, Batman, etc...I'll check those out over the years because I at least know who they are from pop culture. But nowadays I have no idea who half the heroes are in the comic movies.

Is this the one that caused Feige to get more hands-on again? I'm sure there's board pressure about "underperforming characters."

Apparently, Daredevil was the one that triggered it. When they had to stop filming during the strikes, the Marvel brass saw what was filmed and flipped out. One of the trade publications reported it was a courtroom drama and Daredevil didn't put on his costume until the fourth episode.

Is it Historically accurate and by that I mean are they using a human head as a ball

That was more of an Aztec/Central Native American thing.

I think it came up in BP2 because they kinda glossed over it.

My wife and I watched the first two episodes last night. It's solid so far. Definitely some things I didn't like, someone mentioned brawl in Ep1 already. Some of the pulled punches were pretty bad. And the game thing in Ep2 was shot pretty amateurish in my opinion. Oh and I think the acting in spots is pretty poor, I don't think the dude that plays Henry is all that great. But other than those few things it's a solid show and I'm looking forward to finishing it in the next day or so.

Kingpin was awesome though and stole every scene he was in

I thought it was comical that the Kingpin's company Echo hit was called Fisk Transportation. There's no way Fisk would have his name plastered on the name of a company, even if it looked legit from the outside. It would be some random name and be owned by a shell company owned by another shell...

I haven’t gotten to that part yet, and I normally don’t let thing break my suspension of disbelief, but when her cousin is still fluent in ASL 15 years after seeing his deaf cousin, I rolled m eyes.

I have no idea why anyone would want to watch this after seeing the preview. Life is too short to watch terrible TV.

Synopsis: Echo, a young girl has everything taken from her including her hearing and her ancestors land. She literally can't hear but can still hear the cries of women all across the world in regards to misogyny, the partocracy, and abortion rights.

Why are only deaf and blind people super heroes in this universe?

It's like the Marvel Paralympics

Don't forget that she has an artificial leg. It's been a long time since I read the comic but I am pretty sure she had 2 real legs. So now a disabled person is supposedly holding her own against Daredevil. Oy Vey

Not sure who else qualifies as deaf, blind and a super hero beyond these 2.

Daredevil is a well established character with a great backstory.

No clue about Echo. Other than they changed her abilities, much like was done with Ms. Marvel.

What a trainwreck.
