I’ll add another vote for Event Horizon. Saw it once. In a theater. People were openly weeping in fear during the last 15 minutes of the film. I will never watch it again.

The rape scene in “Eye for an eye”.
Sally Field is running down the street screaming on the phone as her daughter is getting raped and dies.
I hated Keefer Sutherland for so long after that movie.

It didn't really "mess" me up, but I watched Carol a few months ago and it really stuck with me for a few days.

That dead baby scene in Trainspotting.

The Exorcist.
It definitely bothered me; however, it also left me pensive about the entire mystical theme of the movie.
I mean, as unsettling as the movie was, it was still very thought-provoking and caused me much reflection. It isn't something I'm going to watch on a bright, sunny afternoon, but I absolutely loved it (and the book too). I probably watch it once or twice a year, typically in the fall.

I was about to reply Vanilla Sky just based on the Subject title. About two weeks after I saw the movie, I started to think of how I would live with a severely fricked up face. For about a week I would wake up in the night and think about that until morning.

Best movie I will never watch ever again.

Reservoir Dogs. Didn't need to see the friggin' ear hole when Mr. Blonde was done.

Annihilation. It really stuck with me for a while after I saw it in the theater. Just couldnt stop thinking about it.
Jacobs Ladder always gets to me in a weird sort of way too.
Requiem for a Dream is another one as well.

Hostel
I will never stay at a Hostel now, I don't give a damn how cheap it is - frick that
Also, Straw Dogs. For whatever reason, that rape scene "messed" me up with how "messed up" it was

Elephant (2003)
I watched it late one night on HBO when I was around 14, not knowing anything about the plot or premise going into it (based on Columbine). The final ten minutes of that film kinda left me shook.

My mom rented Deliverance for me when I was probably a little too young to watch it around 10-11 years old

Dear Zachary fricked me up pretty good.
i wont spoil the evil-as-frick twist for anyone that hasnt seen it but its a super unsettling true story/documentary.

Jacob's Ladder creeped me out. I thought Children of Men was a very stirring film.

Bone Tomahawk.
actually just watched this yesterday. The guy getting cut in half. The pregnant females with the wooden pegs. the whole idea that those creatures could be out there.
and at the end when kurt says "the know about bright hope".
also, they never really show the last 3 getting killed, the females were pregnant and, i'm assuming they raped the guy's wife during her stay there. so,
could there be a sequel?
