It is releasing in Feb, usually a sign of a weak movie. It will also be up against annilation and cloverfield 2017.

I think it's just because of the fact that Infinity War is releasing in May and Ant-Man is releasing in July or something like that. With Thor releasing in November 2017, this spreads out their next movies at a reasonable release pace.

My guess is that they want certain things to happen in a particular order which is why they chose February instead of September/October 2018 for BP.

Quite possible, but it definitely is going to hurt the box office for it.

Next year is fricking insane for superhero movie. Also have 2 new xmen, deadpool, aquaman, hellboy. and you are going to have sorta super hero movies with han solo, jurassic world, pacific rim, MI, ready player one, fantastic beasts.

February is also black history month. That would make more sense than assuming the movie sucked. I'd be willing to bet that Marvel will do everything in its power to make sure the first big-time black super-hero movie doesn't suck.

I'm pumped for it.

Deadpool and the Lego Movie put that urban myth to rest.

Is there a reason Michael B.'s character doesn't have an accent?

If it follows source, his father was a traitor and got kicked out of Wakanda. MBJ’s character was raised in New York.

Just because there are exceptions doesn’t mean the stereotype exists without reason.

I think it looks pretty good, but I agree that there is too much reliance on CGI. It still prefer the feel of movies where actual physical things are filmed, they do as much as much with practical effects as possible, and they incorporate CGI as sparely and subtly as possible.

Still should be cool though. Black Panther is a great character and it looks like he is going to get a worthy movie that will carve out a new niche in the MCU.

Listened to a great Todd McFarlane interview last week and he’s working towards getting another one. Only thing that sucks is MBJ, Idris Elba, and Chadwick Boseman are taken.

Lol spawn was cringe worthy in some spots. I wanted to like it. But didn't.

Yea that's true but I still liked it. John Leguizamo was awesome as clown/violator.
