My wife was crying before the show started. Starting balling when Glenn got it.
We're watching talking dead and she's still crying a little after the "in memorium."

only thing I would have liked to see differently was to have Rick swing the hatchet and have negan stop his arm. then Rick would also kinda be in his debt and Rick would have to live with the fact that he was going to do it

I think it had the same effect. Once Rick raised the hatchet, he was going to do it.
