For the people that say this, what show have you been watching for for the last 7 years? Every episode has disemboweled bodies, people with half a face, blood and guts galore, but you have one bloody eye popped slightly out of it's socket on someone people like and it's like Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction.

What bad decision did they make? That they didn't collect enough intelligence on Negan? From their perspective there was a group of bullies that was hurting a friendly community and would come after them next. They had no reason to expect that was just one part of a much larger army because since the ZA started they haven't seen anything more organized than single communities.
This show does have a history of escalating the plot by making the main characters do stupid things, but this situation doesn't fall into that category at all. Andrea's the last character I remember regularly getting mad at for being stupid (Not counting Carl or the Alexandrians who were all noobs).

People like Negan exist in our world and have existed in every society and time period in history.
Negsn is like an African warlord or a Saddam Hussein or a Pol Pot.

I respectfully disagree. Negan doesn't come off to me as someone that wants all this power and control over everyone. I'm thinking that he was perfectly content with surviving on his own but I bet he kept having problems with humans wanting to take what was his and he finally accepted that to be able to stop being bothered, he'll need an army. He knows how to train his people, delegate responsibility, and provide consequences that work.
My point is, if he was the last man on earth(prob would like a woman there too), I bet Negan would be pleased as punch.
All of this is probably just me projecting so go easy on my theory.

to be fair all the characters leaving Alexandria in the finale was pretty stupid
and before that the Jesus meet up that started all this was stupid
if Rick and Daryl go straight home with the truck full of supplies from the feed store none of this happens... yet

The trough scene at Terminus was as brutal as anything we've seen.
The Gov getting stabbed in the eye with a bigass piece of glass still makes me cringe (scratching my cornea numerous times was bad enough).
When you add it all up, there really wasn't that much violence/gore in this episode. People are just upset it happened to two "good guys." Everyone would cheer if Negan got brained.

It's almost like Rick and company got to murder like 40
Saviors without punishment because the hilltop didn't do any of that and someone still got initial Lucilled to set up business when they found hilltop.

I don't think it's been gory or brutal enough. I like the effort and hope they keep going.

I don't mind the gore, but tired of them regurgitating the same story line..new bigger badder villain, lots of side stories and backstories, only to eventually end with the core group prevailing and picking up some new characters. I'm ready for a new plot...like curing the zombie disease or rebuilding society.

There's no reason for you to get all salty because people have opinions and disagree with you. Calling people pussies because they found a popular characters death disturbing? frick you, you piece of shite human.
It was a great episode and I enjoyed the gore. The fact that people are disturbed are signs that he's a good villain. There's no need for people like you to act like little bitches because some people are "disturbed".
