Pandy Facker will be here to tell us this movie sucks and anyone who likes is lying and stupid in 5...4...3...2....
Look, I was content to just check out the thread and move on but since you evoked the name of Pandy, well here goes.
It was an ok rental but not much more. Having it on in your living room and just casually letting it unfold is fine and was about as entertaining as something you might stumble upon channel surfing. If I paid though to see that shite in the theater, I'd be pissed
Sadly, the best part about that movie was hot chicks with dirty feet and if I want to toss off to that, I can pull it up on pornhub for free.
Oh and here's your upvote. Call on Pandy anytime.

I will give it another shot after some time though, and maybe will like it more then.
Give it another go. I liked it well enough when I saw it in theaters, maybe slightly let down, but enjoyed it more the second time watching it at home.

Dude is obsessed
You just called on Pandy but I'm "obsessed"?
I didn't start this thread and I didn't invite my own commentary. You have somebody else to thank for that.
I'm here for you.

Great movie also loved the scene where Sharon Tate was watching herself on the big screen; made me that much happier when she didn't die:

Good God he thinks he's Kurt Russell in Tombstone.

What does that mean?
What did Kurt Russell say in Tombstone?

I enjoyed the film, but it's definitely towards the bottom of Tarantino flicks for me.

"Don't cry in front of the Mexicans."
their MST3K style riffing at Rick's scenes on the TV
"Hey - you're Rick frickin' Dalton."
Cliff's general badassness, including the casual 100 mph drive through Hollywood to get home
Rick melting down in his trailer
Everything about Sharon Tate, but especially how happy she looked watching herself on screen and hearing the audience react
That little dance the hippy chick does when she's asking Cliff for a ride
and of course, the last 5 minutes of the movie. fricking hilarious and a relieving conclusion to the unseen tension and dread that loomed over the movie

Yeah, they did an interview with her a year or two ago and she talked about how fortunate she was that Tex and the rest went to the wrong house.
She looked good for her age.

I saw it again the other night and it was a lot more re-watchable than I thought it would be
I thought it was a little draggy at the theater, but there is a flow to it

Same here.
It also made me think of Dorothy Stratten, and what could have been. Then it made me think of the movie about her, Star 80. Then it made me remember how much I fricking hate the actor Eric Roberts because of his character in that movie.

This may draw some fire on here, but imo, Leo deserved the Oscar over Joaquin's mental patient Joker take.
For the very scene you referenced. In addition to all the many good scenes and performances, that one alone was worth the price of admission, lunch, and a couple of beers.

I saw it twice in the theaters, but have seen it like 3-4 times on Starz this week. Gets better every time IMO.
Leo and Pit had some of the best on screen chemistry I've ever seen between two actors in a movie. They were an absolutely perfect fit.

I also like when Leo steps out his front door at midnight wearing his short velvet bathrobe and carrying a blender of frozen margarita that he intermittently sips from...
HEY
YEA I’M TALKING TO YOU a-hole
WHAT THE frick DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING BRINGING THAT HUNK OF shite UP HERE AT THIS HOUR

“Rick, the guy killed his fricking wife and got away with it.”
“Aw man, you don’t really believe that shite do you?!”

yeah, when that came on, I was like, 'Hey that, looks like something I would do', and the wife and daughters agreed.
Rick Dalton's "GET OFF MY LAWN!!" moment...

I’m not doing okay.
What’s the matter?
I can’t see sh*t! Would you call that “the matter”? The man can’t see sh*t, okay?
I’m sorry about that. I was told.
Squeaky sent me to bed.
Would that be the little redhead out front?
What the f*ck is the matter with you? First, you wake me up, and now you’re pretending that I didn’t tell you I was f*cking blind! How am I going to know what the hell color the head of the girl is that’s with me all the time?
Oh, fair enough, George.
