All the people complaining about the app literally use a different app it seems.
They think Paramount needs to fix it when all they need is a good TV.

Yea. We all have bad TVs.

When we have subscribed off and on the last few years we started to just use the Paramount+ channel within Apple TV (I think Prime has one as well).
I don’t know if there are any negative aspects as far as content, when content is available to view, or anything else like promotional pricing compared to using the regular app (or if new owners will continue to support channels), but it helps to keep a similar interface act across more of the stuff.

Menu bar just shows up in the middle of a show, the scroll bar will disappear when fast forwarding;, and the languages change in the middle of an episode.
I have never had any of that happen.

I use it at least 1x a week for EPL, and never had that problem. I have also watched nearly everyone of Taylor Sheridan's shows on it, and my biggest issue is that if I pause an episode too close to the end, it'll make me restart the episode if I try to finish it the next day.

It's definitely not due to a "bad" TV but there has to be something on the user end that causes the problems described by everyone. I use an AppleTV 4k and have never had a single problem with the Paramount+ app. Last night I watched the UFC fights using Google TV and had zero problems.

If their app isn't created equally on every available platform, that's not a user end problem -- that's bad programming.

I despise how tiered it is. “Oh, yeah sorry, while that show is Paramount you need our special Paramount Premium for that particular show.” “You want to download, sorry, you need premium.” “You get Paramount+ with your Walmart+? That’s great, but if you want premium you have to pay for the whole premium prescription. There is no upgrade fee.”

I would like to introduce you to Peacock, where I paid for two levels of subscriptions on two different days a month, and they wouldn't synchronize and consolidate the billing. Or Hulu with Live TV, when you had a Disney account before they merged. Or paying for Hulu with Live TV with commercial skip, only to not be able to skip commercials on certain channels until 24 hours after the show has aired. Or paying for Amazon Prime and being subjected to ads anyway, unless you pay more.
My only real bitch about Paramount+ is that if you're tuning into a live sporting even (soccer), and the match has already started, you're watching 60 seconds of ads anyway, and that's on Paramount+ Premium.

Paramount+, Peacock, and HBO max . Apps suck so bad. All of them are so laggy.
TUBI, Pluto and Netflix are the only ones that seem smooth

I use all four through Roku and have never had those issues, in over a decade, across TCL Roku, Roku Ultra, Roku Soundbar, etc. Sounds like a problem with your devices. They're not laggy on my phone, iPad, or computer(s) either on native apps.

200% agree. Sometimes subtitles don't work at all.
What kind of Obama TV do you have

I have more issues with Netflix
It's generally reliable.
But the fact that I can't click into a movie just to read about it, maybe add it to my list, without it auto-playing is aggravating.
Am I missing something?

The problem is that Netflix and Roku have such good UI in comparison to others. Amazon video is bad. Paramount is bad. HBO isn't great (better than it was, though). Hulu is bad. YT is okay.

Why don't you Google paramount+ subtitles not working.
