Everything I'm about to say has probably been said before, but I loved the movie. Franco was hilarious and I saw in the making of the movie he's not even a stoner. I was laughing pretty good throughout the whole movie. My only problem with the movie was that it got a little slow after Saul and Dale had their little falling out, but once they got back to the barn it was absolute hilarity. I couldn't stop laughing after Saul said his little line to the lady cop towards the end. I won't say it because I don't want to ruin it for those that haven't seen it, but everyone who has probably knows what I'm talking about.
ETA: After reading the thread, I guess I'm in the minority on this. I thought it was on par with Superbad and 40yov. I liked it a lot more than Knocked Up.

the pay phone scene with just seth rogan and the diner scene at the end cracked me up.

I thought that was a great way to end it. Because they were pretty much rehashing most of the movie, it reminded you of all the funny parts. Also, one thing that sort of bothered me

Unless they did something at the end of the credits, they completely left the girlfriend situation unresolved. Rogan never called her to say its safe or anything. Basically, it felt like her family could've been completely left out of the movie.

Yeah, the relationship... aside from making Dale look like a cradle robber, it served virtually no point in the larger plot.

Sure, I enjoyed some of the scenes involving her and her family, but it seemed tacked on. Saul getting fork stabbed got a rise out of me. I was waiting for the chick's dad to get into a gun battle with the drug dealers for just a second.

I thought it was great and my wife laughed the entire time. She enjoyed it more than any of their other movies because it didn't have as much cussing. I just thought it was a funny, very solid movie.
