quote:I think that William Daniels is severely underrated as an actor. His role as Dr. Mark Craig on St. Elsewhere was as iconic as his John Adams in 1776 and his run as Mr. Feeny. His interaction with Ed Begley Jr. on St. Elsewhere was pretty much a template for Peter Benton and John Carter on ER.
St. Elsewhere.

He refused the 1969 Tony Award nomination for Featured Actor in a Musical in 1776. He claims it was a leading role rather than supporting.
He should've won best actor. Technicalities

And remember, the entire 6 seasons were all a figment of Tommy Westphall's imagination.

The Pitt has some of the cringiest, most over-the-top dialogue I’ve ever seen in a medical show
Grey’s Anatomy and House will always be top tier when it comes to dialogue and writing.

quote:They changed the Tony rules because of him. You no longer have to be listed as lead actor on the marquee. If you carry the show, sing every song, you can be nominated. He took himself out because he would’ve beaten his supporting cast in their category.

Can’t rank them, but a buddy of mine is an ER physician and said that The Pitt is too realistic, so he can’t watch. It’s like he hasn’t left work

My sister was an emergency room nurse at Charity in New Orleans and she said the Pitt is accurate enough to give her flashbacks!
