Because representation is all these folks can comprehend. They've not experienced real life stress, trauma or victories. Deep moral issues are beyond them. Nothing outside of their current day bubble is worth their time.

The most offensive thing that about that image might just be having a klingon, smiling, and frolicking in the grass in what looks like an Abercrombie & Fitch ad.

That was my thought. I couldn't look away for a minute. I can't believe anyone would approve this shite.

Gene is absolutely rolling in his grave. Hell, Shatner is still alive. Can he come take a shat on this?

What’s funny to me is the race baiters always casting black people as Klingons. Woke people are the most racist and bigoted morons on earth.

Isn’t it funny how these same people keep calling the most violent and dark skinned aliens or monsters as being “black“? Whether it’s Orcs in Lord of the rings or Klingons in Star Trek.

They insist on coding them that way to claim some fake offended moral high ground.

Nah you had guys like Christopher Plummer, Christopher Lloyd, David Warner etc who were primary Klingons in the past.

With the final season of Picard and Strange New Worlds I thought things were getting better, that picture makes me question myself.

They must have fired everyone because i agree. Classic case of people not knowing the source material. They even threw the Prime Directive out the window

Yeah, they did change who was running it I believe. And I agree wholeheartedly, Picards season 1 and 2 were such disappointments. I was worried it was going to get even worse with season 3 because they were bringing the rest of the cast into that pile of crap. But season 3 was amazing. It was all I wanted in a TNG reunion/capstone. Picard should've been that season and that season alone.

Season 1 wasn't terrible. Not great, but not terrible.

Season 2 was insulting on so many levels. I checked out around episode 5 I think. Around the time Guinan told Picard "This century took off a hood and put on a suit."

I wasn't going to bother with Season 3 until people here started raving about it.

Until I read this and looked it up I had no idea that Chang from Undiscovered County was played by Christopher Plummer. Learn something new every day

This show isn't for you, racist bigot. This is for the modern audience.

And don't forget Charles Cooper, who played a Klingon in TNG as well as Gen. Korrd in The Final Frontier.

They cry about lack of representation, and then force themselves into roles to only then cry about being 'coded' as dark skinned and violent.

There literally is no pleasing the identity polidiots.

Because they’re mostly sociopaths. They can’t view anything from another perspective so they project themselves onto everything. They’re the ones who see everything as coded or subversive so they claim normal people see things that way when there’s zero evidence to support that. So everything they create is far a very narrow and small audience which is why they need the bait of large appeal IP to even get these shows green lit. Problem is reality kicks in and they all end up failing.
